Effective date: April 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) applies to https://sisepuede.ai, the ¡Sí Se Puede! Radio mobile application (the “App”), and any other websites, applications, widgets, products, services, and on- and offline offerings (collectively, the “Services”) owned and operated by Chavez Media Group and our affiliates and subsidiaries (collectively, “Chavez Media,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy covers our treatment of Personal Information we gather through the Services.
This Policy explains how Chavez Media may collect, use, process, disclose, and safeguard information we obtain through the Services. It also describes your rights and choices with respect to your Personal Information, and how you can contact us. Chavez Media is the data controller for the purposes of this Policy, except where a partner is identified as responsible for specific processing.
If you wish to opt out of Chavez Media’s “sharing” of your Personal Information for cross-context behavioral advertising purposes (where applicable), you may submit a request via email to support@chavezmedia.com with “Personal Information Removal Request” in the subject line. Please include your name, city of residence, and email address when making this request.
For purposes of this Policy, “Personal Information” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.
The App and website share branding and many backend systems (for example, content and configuration served from sisepuede.ai). Some practices apply only on the website (for example, account registration on the site), and some apply primarily in the App (for example, mobile advertising SDKs and push notification registration). Where relevant, this Policy notes those distinctions.
We obtain Personal Information from:
Where we require Personal Information to provide a feature, we will indicate that at collection. If you do not provide it when required, you may not be able to use that feature.
If you register as a user of the Services, we may ask you to provide information such as your name, email address, year of birth, and password to create an account. You may optionally add profile details such as country, zip code, gender, or a photo, where those features are offered.
If you register as a broadcaster, we may collect information about your station and broadcast(s), such as name, email, phone, website, streaming URL, and background information about the station.
When you leave comments or similar content, we collect the data you submit in the form, and may collect your IP address and browser user agent to help with spam detection. An anonymized string derived from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to display an avatar if you use it. Gravatar’s policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval, your profile picture may be visible publicly with your comment.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS)unless you intend to share that information. Visitors may be able to download images and extract location data from them.
We collect information you provide when you contact customer support (email, social media, in-app or web forms, etc.). If you complete surveys, we collect your responses and may ask for demographic or preference information.
We may collect Personal Information when you participate in events, sweepstakes, contests, or job applications(including CV and references), or when business partners and vendors provide contact details of their personnel.
If you log in using a social network (for example, Facebook), we may receive information that you authorize that service to share, such as name, email, gender, date of birth, or profile picture, and other information permitted by your settings.
We may receive information about you from marketing partners or other sources as permitted by law.
When you use the Services, we may collect information about your activities, such as stations or channels you listen to, searches, interactions with content, follow lists, comments, posts, and other usage data. Some information you post may be publicly visible to other users (“Public Information”).
If you use features that involve sharing content, we may collect information about your contacts with your permission.
We may also use location-related information as needed to comply with content or licensing requirements applicable to radio or streaming offerings.
We receive information from the device or browser you use, such as IP address, browser type, mobile operating system version, language, unique device identifiers, and similar technical data.
Other websites may embed Sí Se Puede / ¡Sí Se Puede! Radio widgets (for example, players or lists). When you visit a page with an embedded widget, we may receive information about the page visited, IP address, and device information. Widgets may be used to show personalized content or advertising. Sites that embed widgets may receive related interaction information as described in their own policies.
When you visit the website, we and third-party providers may use cookies and similar technologies. Examples include:
You can control cookies through your browser settings.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our Services and to improve them. You can learn about Google’s practices and opt-out tools at https://policies.google.com/privacy and the browser add-on at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Articles or pages may include embedded content (videos, images, articles, etc.) from other sites. That content behaves as if you visited the third-party site and may involve cookies or tracking governed by the third party’s policy.
The following apply specifically to the App:
Advertising (Google Mobile Ads / AdMob)
The App displays ads through Google Mobile Ads (AdMob) and related Google services. Google and its partners may collect or receive identifiers, IP address, general location, app interactions, and diagnostic data to deliver and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted. See https://policies.google.com/privacy.
Custom / first-party promotional content
The App may request promotional or sponsored content from servers operated for us at sisepuede.ai (for example, via our APIs). Requests may include coarse location (such as rounded latitude/longitude, region, or city) when you have allowed location, to tailor what is shown.
In-app purchases and subscriptions
Purchases are processed by Apple or Google. We use RevenueCat to help manage subscriptions and entitlements. RevenueCat may process purchase-related identifiers and transaction data as described at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy. The App may sync limited subscription status (for example, whether premium or ad-free access is active) with sisepuede.ai to support App features.
Push notifications
If you opt in, the App obtains a push token (using Expo notification services connected to your app configuration) and may send it to https://sisepuede.ai so we can deliver notifications. Registration may include language, platform(iOS/Android), and optional location fields if you have allowed location. We may log notification interaction events(for example, opens) to measure engagement and improve the service. You can disable notifications in device settings.
Streaming and content APIs
To provide radio and related features, the App communicates with third-party streaming or metadata providers and with sisepuede.ai (for example, station lists, configuration, ads, or support endpoints). When you have allowed location, requests for station data may include region, latitude, or longitude (often rounded) so we can return stations or programming appropriate to your area. As with any internet request, standard technical data (such as IP address and user agent) may be collected by us or those providers.
Local storage on your device
The App may store data on your device (for example, cached station lists, recent stations, favorites, or push token references) using local storage mechanisms. That data remains on the device unless you clear app data or uninstall the App.
When you use our App or certain digital Services, measurement providers (such as Nielsen or Comscore, where implemented) may collect information about your use of the Services on behalf of Chavez Media, as disclosed in product settings or partner notices where required.
We use Personal Information for purposes including:
Providing the Services
Marketing and advertising
Administrative, security, and legal
Consent
We may use Personal Information for other purposes disclosed at collection or with your consent, as permitted by law.
Station and channel partners
We may disclose limited listening-related information to partners (for example, device or app identifiers, general geographic information, session timing, or search terms used to find content), for their analytics or marketing as permitted by law and their policies.
Advertising partners
We may share Personal Information with third-party advertising partners to deliver ads. Partners may combine data we provide with other data about you.
With your direction
We may share information when you use social sharing or similar features, subject to your choices and the third party’s policy.
Other users
Public Information you post may be visible to others. Consider carefully what you post.
Service providers
We use providers (hosting, analytics, email, Google/AdMob, RevenueCat, Expo, Apple, Google, etc.) who process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
Legal and business transfers
We may disclose information to comply with law or legal process, protect rights and safety, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, as permitted by law.
We do not sell your Personal Information for money in the ordinary sense of that phrase in U.S. state laws; where required, we honor opt-out rights for sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising as described above.
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards intended to protect Personal Information. No method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.
The Services may link to third-party sites. This Policy does not apply to those sites. Review their policies before providing information.
We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children under 13 (U.S.) in a manner inconsistent with COPPA, or as required by other regions:
Brazil and other jurisdictions may impose additional rules for sensitive data or minors. If you believe a child has provided Personal Information, contact us using the information below and we will take appropriate steps, including deletionwhere required.
If you use the Services from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. and other countries where we or our providers operate.
If you are in the EEA, UK, Switzerland, or Brazil, we take steps required by applicable law for cross-border transfers(including, where applicable, standard contractual clauses or recognized frameworks). Chavez Media may rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and related arrangements where certified and applicable.
Note: Some features of the Services may require transfer to the U.S. or other jurisdictions to function.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, portability, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or withdrawal of consent, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
